A first large real estate becomes a part of ČMN’s portfolio
Českomoravská Nemovitostní has closed its first large transaction. After minor and local real estate deals, it has become one of major players on the Czech real estate market after acquiring a building from IMMOFINANZ. The building serves as headquarters of ŠkoFIN, a leasing company operating under the brand of Volkswagen Financial Services (VWSF).
“Our focus is on building in large cities and, at the same time, on major national and international players, with whom we are building long-term partnerships. VWSF headquarters is a strategic building with excellent connection,” said Jan Fiala, Chairman of the Board, ČMN, adding: “We put emphasis on long-term investment horizon and the creditworthiness of tenants of each real estate.”
The ŠkoFIN building is situated in the western part of Prague, in Pekařská street, with almost 6,500 square metres at four floors above the ground. The building was designed to meet the tenant’s needs and specifications at a suitable location with good transport connection. It has a direct access to the motorway to Germany and Václav Havel Airport Prague, as well as to Prague’s metro system via the Nové Butovice (line B) station, which is within a walking distance.
ČMN is a real estate holding focusing on purchasing and holding commercial real estates in the Czech Republic. In this segment, it focuses particularly on office buildings, which are regarded as predictable and consistent in terms of generating rental income.
