A prestigious address on Wenceslas Square, innovative technologies, and a careful renovation respecting the historical legacy of the building. After two years of modernization work, Českomoravská Nemovitostní (ČMN) is reopening its Václavské náměstí 62 building. It offers over 2,800 sqm of office space, terraces with views over Prague, and striking architectural features such as an onyx wall in the entrance corridor – all just steps from the statue of Saint Wenceslas.

A Building that Combines History with Modern Technology
The building offers more than 2,800 sqm of office space, designed to meet the needs of today’s companies for efficient and inspiring work environments. Each floor provides approximately 325 sqm of usable area, while a luxurious duplex on the upper floors offers more than 500 sqm of space across two levels, complete with terraces and breathtaking views of Prague. “Václavské náměstí 62 is a unique combination of a prestigious location, modern design, and cutting-edge technology. We believe this building will provide our tenants with the ideal environment to grow their business and ensure employee satisfaction,” says Josef Eim, Vice Chairman of the Board at ČMN.

A Strategic Location in the Heart of Prague
Located right next to the statue of Saint Wenceslas, the building is easily accessible by all modes of transport. The metro stations Muzeum and Můstek are just a few steps away, as are several tram stops. The surrounding area offers a wide range of restaurants, cafés, shops, and cultural venues, making it an ideal location not only for work but also for social life. The revitalization of Wenceslas Square will bring additional benefits, including a planned tram stop right next to the VN62 building. To ensure a peaceful and comfortable work environment, special attention was given during the renovation to soundproofing, effectively reducing outside noise.

Technology and Sustainability
Václavské náměstí 62 meets the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability. The building is aiming for a BREEAM “Outstanding” certification, confirming its environmental responsibility. Key technological and design features include:

A Strategic Move within ČMN’s Portfolio
ČMN acquired the building at Václavské náměstí 62 with the goal of creating a modern, representative headquarters for companies seeking a prestigious address in the heart of Prague. Now, after an extensive and thoughtful renovation, this goal has been realized.

“From the very beginning, we saw great potential in the building at Václavské náměstí 62. Now, following the completion of the modernization, we are confident that it will offer our tenants top-tier office space and a strategic advantage that will help them achieve their goals,” adds Josef Eim.

ČMN has long focused on the management and development of premium properties that offer not only high quality but also strategic value to their tenants. Václavské náměstí 62 is a showcase of this vision and reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

A History Dating Back to the 14th Century
The site where Václavské náměstí 62 now stands has a rich history dating back to 1348, when Charles IV founded the New Town of Prague. The current form of the building was created between 1996 and 1998, designed by the renowned studio Drexler & Vrbata ARCHITEKTI. The original white-and-terracotta color scheme of the façade was changed at the investor’s request to white and green to match the logo of Bankovní dům Skala, which was to be headquartered there. However, the bank ceased operations before the building was completed.
