Prague, 8 June 2023 - Českomoravská Nemovitostní, a leading Czech real estate group, has appointed Lucie Půžová, an experienced manager with extensive experience in the finance, real estate and FMCG sectors, to the newly created position of sustainability consultant. Her task will be to develop existing sustainability and ESG activities and to prepare and subsequently manage a comprehensive ESG strategy for the entire real estate group, which has assets under management in excess of CZK 14 billion.

In her new position, Lucie Půžová will work closely with all departments to ensure the full and above all smooth integration of sustainable practices into all of the Group's activities - from procurement, through office management to the management of individual properties.

"ESG activities have been an integral part of the Českomoravská Nemovitostní Group's business for some time, but until now these issues have been dealt with within individual departments. Now it will be treated comprehensively and systematically, which will help us to successfully pursue our vision of sustainable business in the long term," explains Karel Bor, CEO of ČMN.

Lucie Půžová, an expert in real estate investment projects, moves to the position of sustainability consultant from the investment department, where she has been responsible for investment processes and ensuring the efficient allocation of the Group's capital since 2018.

"I have been working in the field of real estate projects, their acquisitions and financing, investment management and sustainability and ESG issues for almost ten years. I am very familiar with the sub-processes and understand the workings of each department, which is extremely important for my new position. This is because ESG cuts across the whole company and the involvement of every department is important to get the activities right. Setting up a complete ESG strategy for a large group like ČMN is a real challenge for me and I am looking forward to it," says Půžová.

Lucie Půžová graduated in Economics and Management at Mendel University in Brno. Before graduating, she joined Klimatex, a company that produces and sells functional outdoor clothing. From the position of product and purchasing manager she participated in the development and significant modernization of the brand's product portfolio and after two years she was appointed CEO of the company. Since 2014, she has been working in the finance and real estate sector.
